Here Are Some Updates On Young Dolph's Shooting Case

Since Young Dolph got shot earlier this week in Hollywood, many different rumors have been spreading about the rapper's condition and who's allegedly behind the attack. So, let's clear some things up.

1) One Of Dolph's Friends Has Been Arrested

Corey McClendon, a longtime friend of Dolph, was arrested on Wednesday (Sept. 27) and charged with attempted murder. Det. Meghan Aguilar says that McClendon is now being held on $1 million bail. According to USA Today: "She said investigators are still looking for two other men believed to have been involved in the fight with Young Dolph, 32, which led to the shooting in the valet area of the Loews Hollywood hotel, near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue."

2) Yo Gotti Is No Longer A Person Of Interest

Initially, Gotti was named a person of interest in Dolph's shooting case. TMZ reported: "Law enforcement sources tell us Gotti and Young Dolph were both staying at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood Tuesday when their crews got into some sort of disagreement. We're told just a short time later, shots were fired outside the hotel."

The two rappers have been beefing for many years. However, Gotti has been cleared in the investigation.

3) Young Dolph Is Not Dead

Reports began swirling on Wednesday (Sept. 27) evening that Dolph died from his gunshot injuries. But, those rumors are false. Instead, he's still recovering after being shot once in his arm and a second time in his behind.
