Saturday night September 21st was a special night for me. I was one of 12 men of color honored for their service in the field of media in Syracuse and Central New York. I was especially happy to see my good friends Butch Charles and George Kilpatrick receive acknowledgement. I've known, worked with, and maintained a great friendship with these men ever since our day at Syracuse University. I would like to thank Cora Thomas and Ken Jackson for their efforts to put on such a remarkable evening.
