Mike Will Made-It Taps Pharrell & Kendrick Lamar for "The Mantra"

Last month, star producer/songwriter Mike Will Made-It was revealed to be the curator and executive producer for the Creed II soundtrack, and now, he's sharing the newest song from the 15-track set: "The Mantra" featuring Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar

On "The Mantra," Pharrell and Kendrick talk about nothing and no one getting in their way. In the chorus, Williams sings, "They will not get none, nah (In the way)/ It's funny to watch them 'em there attempt that blocking/ But they will get none, nah (In the way, hey)."

On social media, the super-producer hilariously (but accurately) compared "The Mantra" to getting coffee at Starbucks. He shared, "Not gonna lie 'The Mantra' is the closest thing to Starbucks. You want it first thing in the AM, all the [way] to the PM, then when it's not available you feel like you need it. It's the perfect blend to get you through your day with a smile on your face."

The full Creed II soundtrack features a number of hip hop/R&B heavyweights, including Nas, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, YG, Quavo, Juicy J, J. Cole, Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, Ella Mai, and many more.

In a statement on the soundtrack, Mike Will explained of his new body of work for the movie, "I approached the music by first watching Creed II and then creating a playlist of songs people could work out to, chill to, vibe to or to get them through any struggle which matched specific scenes in the movie. It's important to show the new generation that soundtracks can be just as exciting as traditional albums if put in the hands of the right curator."

Creed II hits theaters nationwide on November 21st. The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr., and stars Dolph Lundgren, Tessa Thompson, Sylvester Stallone, and Michael B. Jordan, among a list of others.
