Snoop Dogg put on a memorable show with his longtime friends after he accepted the Ultimate Icon Award.

On Monday night, June 9, the Death Row Records owner was honored with the prestigious award at the 2025 BET Awards in Los Angeles. Dr. Dre was in the building to present Snoop with the coveted prize toward the end of the awards show. The Missionary rapper approached the podium with his wife Shante a.k.a "bosslady." During his speech, Snoop made sure to recognize the other honorees, Mariah Carey, Kirk Franklin, and Jamie Foxx. He also took some time to thank his wife of 28 years, his children, and his 10 grandchildren.

“This is why I’m so rock solid," Snoop said. "This is why I’m able to deal with all the things I’m able to deal with — when I’ve got God in my life and I’ve got a queen in my life. She’s always been my everything.”

After his speech, Snoop Dogg blessed the crowd with a stunning performance of his greatest hits. Backed by a full orchestra, the LBC native performed songs like "Drop It Like It's Hot," "Nuthin' But A 'G' Thang!" and "Next Episode." Midway through his set, Snoop brought out the legendary Charlie Wilson to help him perform "Beautiful" and The Gap Band's classic "Outstanding."

To close out his epic performance, Snoop Dogg called on some of his other homies to help him out. After shouting out C-Murder during "Down For My N's," Snoop invited Kurupt and Warren G to the stage to perform his classic "Ain't No Fun." The crew stayed onstage as he wrapped up his set with "Gin & Juice."
