The Illinois Sales Tax Holiday Is Here

Everybody likes to save money especially when you don't have to pay so much in tax. For 10 days this month, the state of Illinois offers a tax holiday, in which taxes decrease significantly. The tax rate on clothing and school supplies will go from 6.25% to 1.25%, It doesn't sound like much but you will see a difference on your receipt.

Clothing, footwear and school supplies are included, but there are some restrictions so be sure to read up on it before you go shopping. The sales tax holiday goes through August 14th.
