Since today was the first "real snow" that many of us have experienced this season, I thought this video was perfect. I know a lot of people who dread the first sight of snow. Seeing someone enjoy snow for the first time brings a smile to my face. I recall a couple of years ago seeing few SU students who were obviously seeing snow for the first time. They were playing in the small amount that had accumulated on the ground, taking selfies, and clearly enjoying themselves. It put a smile on my face. Then I began to think about how disillusioned they would become when they had to shovel their walkways, drive and walk in the snow. However, for that moment, I appreciated the joy that they were feeling at seeing snow for the first time.
