Rise Above Poverty is an organization here in Syracuse whose mission is to bring community awareness and engagement to end the socioeconomic issue of homelessness and poverty in the Syracuse City School District. I had a chance to talk to Troy Gray of Rise Above Poverty about the organization, its origins, its goals, etc.
