From the "Things I Didn't Know" file. I didn't know that Tiffany Haddish had Jewish roots. She celebrated her Jewish roots by having a Bat Mitzva. This is when a Jewish young lady socially and religiously becomes a woman. Tiffany celebrated her Bat Mitzva and her 40th birthday at the same time. We all know that Tiffany is not young woman coming of age, but she didn't find out about her Jewish roots until she reconnected with her father who is an Eritrean born Jew. She also benefited from a special program that allows an individual to experience a Bat or Bar Mitzva who didn't have the opportunity to experience it earlier in life. She uses the experience as a main talking point for her latest Netflix special, Black Mitzva, which debuted last week. here's a peak at that special.
