Syracuse Says Farewell to local anchor, Jennifer Sanders

Today, Syracuse and Central New York bid farewell to Newschannel 9's local anchor, Jennifer Sanders.

Jennifer Sanders, originally from San Antonio, Texas, has made Syracuse and Central New York her home for the past eight years as an anchor on Newschannel 9. She is returning to to her roots in Texas to work for a sister station of Newschannel 9, KSAN in Austin.

The community has shown Sanders a flood of outgoing support since her announcement that she would be leaving Newschannel 9 as a dedicated morning anchor - one that most in Syracuse and Central New York woke up to each morning. Her dedication to reporting, hard work and integrity, and her role in the community will be continue on for years to come.
