Kehlani's long-awaited self-titled album is finally here, and it's taking over iHeartRadio's airwaves all weekend long.

On Friday, April 24, the Grammy Award-winning singer celebrates their 31st birthday by dropping their fifth studio album, Kehlani, via Atlantic Records. Kehlani kicks off the album with a soothing opening message before they get into their collaboration with Lil Wayne, "Anotha Luva," and "No Such Thing" featuring Clipse. Following their smash hit "Folded," Kehlani serves up other bangers with Brandy, Usher, T-Pain, Lil Jon, Cardi B, Big Sean, Leon Thomas and Missy Elliott. The California singer says it was "a dream" to work with Elliott on their latest single, "Back and Forth."

"It's been a dream working with Missy Elliott," Kehlani tells iHeartRadio. "Honestly, she's the sweetest. She's so encouraging. She also has so much artistic integrity. She knows what she wants, how she wants it to go, and how to make it best. She just really shows up and she's been very, very sweet to me, so I'm really appreciative."

Kehlani first announced their album late last year during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. Since then, they've reaped the benefits of releasing her hit song "Folded." After debuting the iconic Folded Homage Pack last year, the 31-year-old artist earned their first two Grammys for "Best R&B Song" and "Best R&B Performance." They also took home "R&B Song of the Year" for "Folded" at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, and performed the song during the show. After revealing their album cover and title last month, Kehlani says the project as a whole makes them feel reborn.

"I decided to name this album Kehlani because it just felt like all the roads in my life were leading to me just putting my foot down and stamping, I guess, whatever this time period is that just feels like a rebirth, but also like a recentering and a refocus," they say. "It just made perfect sense."
